A perfect, easy dinner for busy weeknights
For the Aussie lamb burger:
1 lb Aussie ground lamb
1 tsp lemon zest
2 tsp dried oregano
2 tsp minced garlic
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
1/2 cup diced cucumber
2 T fresh dill, chopped
2 tsp lemon juice
1 T olive oil
For serving:
Buns, lettuce, tomato, onion as needed
In a medium bowl, mix together the Aussie lamb, lemon zest, dried oregano, garlic, and salt and pepper to taste. Form into 4 patties.
Grill for 4-5 minutes per side. In a small bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt, cucumber, dill, lemon juice, olive oil and salt and pepper to taste.
Place the burgers on the buns.Top with yogurt sauce, lettuce, tomato and onion. Serve immediately.
